Light and pleasure

'The Table' is a contemporary take on haute cuisine – reinforced by an interior and lighting concept that further expresses this aim.

Pleasure comes first, so the mood in the Hamburg Michelin star restaurant is laid back. Guests dine together at the serpentine-shaped restaurant bar and look into the open kitchen.

Kevin Fehling has deliberately broken the unwritten rules of fine dining. He focuses on keeping things light and cosy, and the lighting is no exception.

At 'The Table', what matters most is the dish itself – and of course what's served on it. So, every plate is perfectly showcased in its own pool of light. The warm, glare-free light of the suspended luminaire Sento filo subtly highlights the culinary perfection of each course.
