Era takes the classic silhouette of a shade luminaire and brings it into the present with extraordinary materials and innovative technology. The focus goes beyond design itself to the interplay of glass, reflection and light.
The Art of Reflection
The solid glass body defines Era's distinctive character. Milled from a single block and polished to a high shine, it is paired with the finest leather, giving the luminaire its extraordinary materiality. Inside, the captivating Occhio fireball shines, directing the light onto a gently curved, satin-finished reflector shade that softly reflects it into the room without glare. The solid glass body creates optical depth and reveals ever-changing perspectives depending on the viewing angle. The resulting reflections give the light its unique fascination.
Freedom of placement
The built-in rechargeable battery makes Era independent of a fixed power connection, opening up new possibilities for placement throughout the space. From the sideboard to the dining table, from the sofa to the desk or out onto the patio: the luminaire can be placed wherever light is needed. At maximum brightness, a single battery charge lasts up to eight hours.
Its operation follows the same philosophy of freedom: With »touchless control«, Era can be switched on and off and dimmed hands-free using intuitive gestures. With »color tune«, the colour temperature can also be adjusted intuitively to suit the moment and mood – from warm, candlelight-like tones to invigorating cool light. When multiple Era luminaires are used, »air sync« allows them to be connected and controlled synchronously, using gestures or the Occhio app
Era & Era lusso – two characters, one idea
Era is defined by its clear, minimalist aesthetic: The solid glass body is paired with the finest black leather. This puts the materials themselves centre stage, emphasising the luminaire's timeless silhouette.
Era lusso offers a particularly sensual interpretation of the same iconic shape. A shimmering, finely textured mesh envelops the Occhio fireball, lending its glow additional depth and mysterious elegance. Two colour combinations bring together metal, glass and leather: bronze with dark brown leather (marrone) and rose gold with elegant red leather (rosso).
