In an inspiring round Helen Neumann, director lighting design Occhio, Linda Boronkay, founder of Linda Boronkay Design Studio, and Robyn Landau, co-founder of Kinda Studios discussed the topic ‘Illuminating the human experience’. The talk was charmingly hosted by Kerstin Zumstein, co-editor of Design Anthology UK.
The panel talk focussed on the profound role of light in interior design and how it affects our brain and our emotions. Light not only influences our visual perception, but also our well-being and health. It was emphasised how well thought-out lighting design creates spaces that convey a sense of security, guide emotions and take individual needs into account – from natural to technological lighting that shapes our quality of life.
