For the first time, the German luxury lighting brand Occhio was part of the renowned London Design Festival and celebrated the grand opening of the new, impressive flagship store in Kensington & Chelsea. The celebrations were attended by an exclusive group of over 400 well-known representatives of the press, design scene and London society. The highlight of the party was the presentation of the new, magical luminaire series Luna, which was unveiled in the UK for the first time.
Occhio celebrated the grand opening of its new flagship in the Brompton design district as part of the London Design Festival. Perfectly situated between Chelsea and South Kensington alongside other renowned international luxury brands in the vicinity, Occhio's ‘culture of light’ is now making its way into the United Kingdom. The evening of 21st September was the highlight of the festival: Over 400 guests – a veritable who's who of the design scene – experienced and celebrated the culture of light in the new flagship, along with Occhio's full range of products in a relaxed atmosphere with cool cocktails and live DJ.

The product highlight of the event was the new Luna luminaire series, presented by Axel Meise, Founder & Designer of Occhio: a synthesis of classical shapes, new stylish finishes, surprising lighting effects and state-of-the-art technology. The stylish luminaire series opens up completely new areas of use. Shimmering with sensuality and mystery, Luna transforms any space into a place of beauty and light. The revolutionary Occhio 'fireball' light source floats almost magically, like a heavenly body, in the partially mirrored glass sphere, creating a soft, directed light that is at once powerful and glare-free. Luna combines classical design with innovative technology from Occhio, taking the light experience to a whole new level.
